We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day aerospace manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workflow management.
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently achieved.
Lead and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, FAA, and EASA regulations.
Promote workplace safety and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory, materials, and supplier performance.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and manufacturing expenditures.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations.
Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding ofaerospace manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
